In literacy One of the tasks We had to do was to go on our teachers blog and look at two music video’s, give a little love and Man in the mirror. I learnt from these to video clips that you need to show Leader ship, if someones in trouble or needs something help them out and do the right thing. With the Micheal Jackson clip (man in the mirro) I learnt that you have to stand up for the people you love and that everyone should treat each other fairly. With the Give a little love clip I learnt that if you see some hurt, in trouble or if they need something help them out.

27/5/13 week 7 three little pigs
Today in literacy we were given a sheet of paper that had the “three little pigs” story on it. the paragraphs were mixed up and we had to put them in order and write a summary. I learnt that when you write a summary you don’t put too much detail in it and don’t make it too long, so when you write a summary only make it about 5 or 6 sentences. 🙂

In Literacy we have been looking at narratives and creating our own fractured fairy tales. Fractured fairy tales are like mixed up original fairy tales, e.g Jack and the beanstalk the giant might be the poor person then become rich and Jack might be a rich person. Me and a partner made our own fractured fairy tale based on Jack and the beanstalk. After we have done that we have to make our own imovie about the fractured fairy tale we created.
Literature Circles July 18th 2013
Today in Literature circles we did the travel tracker sheet, what you have to do on the travel tracker sheet is you have to draw four or six boxes and draw the main events in a story. Then you you have to write the main events on the travel track piece of paper as well as how did the story end and how the story starts. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
