King Arthur 

 

 

Arthur was the first born son of King Uther Pendragon and heir to the throne. However these were very troubled times and Merlin, a wise magician, said that the baby Arthur should be raised in a secret place and that none should know his true identity.

Arthur was raised by a man called Hector. Merlin gave the baby Arthur to Hector and asked him to care for him. He didn’t tell him the truth about where he came from or my he needed safe keeping. the truth was that the baby was given away by a man named King Uther, Arthurs real father. Merlin the wizard put a magical spell on Arthur as a favour for the future.

Arthur was well raised by Hector, Hector treated Arthur like his own son alongside with his own son Kay. Hector wanted his sons to become a night and fight for camelot.

 

 

 

 

 

This youtube clip explains the sword king Arthur pulled out to become king. The sword is called Excalibur, when King Arthur was a baby Merlin casted a spell on the sword, only king Arthur can pull it out.

 

Years later Arthurs real dad, King Uther died, Englan was in chaos because they had no king. There was much disagreement about who should be king, then finally Merlin had a plan. Merlin told the people that there is a sword in a stone, whoever has the streng to pull out the sword from the stone will be cround king. Merlin new Arthur was going to win. Many people tried to pull out the sword but failed, it was on the 3 go Arthur pulled out the sword he was croun king of camelot.
